you're right about hips.... i wish i trained gymnastics as a kid bc i belive it gives great BASE for any other sport

GLUTES - in my opinion very neglected muscle group . When i'm doing straight leg deadlifts (for hams) i really have to squeeze my glutes so my lover back would not take over the load , if i do not do that i can't feel any tension in my hamstrings
