that's the problem when you grow up (as a BB) watching Dorian Yates, you think that you MUST do bb rows, deads, flat bench press etc. to grow but unfortunately most of us can't and never will train like that
That's why i have great respect for Ben Pakulski and things that he teaches
Some tasty fats i hope :D
Yeah for there is much more than meets the eye. We tend to judge what we see which is usually just the tip of the iceberg. Dorian also had limited equipment but figured out mind muscle connection with what he had.

i think i'd die after training session with him or, at least, end up severly injured
Thanks Chris. Im going to add some in for a bit and see if it helps or anything. Worth a shot to see.

regarding foods....must say i'm very happy to be "farm raised" or to be "a country boy" bc i know how the REAL food should look and taste like. Today had to buy eggs from store, even though label says "cage free" blah blah , you can clearly see the difference (in the color of the yolk) between that egg and the egg i get from my parents farm from chickens that roam free around the farm

I could not agree with you more buddy! I buy all my stuff from local farms or most at least.

how are the prices? I get most of my food from my parents farm...vegetables from my own garden , chicken breast from free raised chickens, eggs... + mom made homemade sauerkraut, pickles , strawberry and cherry jams

12 eggs = 3-4 USD
Veges generally cheaper than the store
CHicken per lbs = 4-5 USD
but when you eat it, you know it's worth every penny
Oh you do not need to tell me. I spend ALL OF MY MONEY on food because that is what I love the most. Nutrition is what I do. Live, eat, breath, teach, work FOOD and NUTRITION

the only problem for me is buying beef...that is waaaay too expensive here, so i opt for some pork or ground turkey (dark meat)
What about Gatorade for intra? With the carbs and sugar? I have been hesitant to try because of the sugar but I have heard good benefits... Rex/Tuttle any thoughts. I use Aminos intra as well but thought about adding in a Gatorade while I train in offseason.
Basically Dextrose you buy in bulk. If you can handle it on your GI Tract sure. Some people get bloated by gatorade and opt for Waxy Maize or HBCD for an intra-workout carb source.

No one knows probably if they are taking too much. I am around 54gx 6 meals per day
i'm asking bc some say that it's better to keep the protein intake on the high end for recovery and growth and the others say that there is no real need to go above 1g/lbs in the off season bc you have carbs and fats to spare the protein

i'm aiming for 35 - 45 per meal
Ever since I started training I have never done less than 50g per meal. I have done up to 100g but that didn´t help any. I have tracked my nutrition from day 1.
Now, 14 years later, I´m doing 70-75g per meal. 7 meals a day

off season and pre contest the same amount? or do you increase it in prep when calories go really low, to "spare the muscle"?
