One of the best burritos I ever had was from a gas station near Plano Texas. With that being said...I grew up in Southern California so I feel my ability to judge Burritos is allowed. Pass me a big ol Carne Asada burrito and you will see a happy man.
Best burritos are from the most non-descript places. Same with tamales!

Agreed! The Giant Burrito from El Rey here in HTown is the best I've tasted so far. Authentic too, not some burrito stuffed with a bunch of crap American's like to eat, LOL!

Tamales for sure! The best are ones are 75% venison and 25% wild hog. They're f*cking amazing!!!!!! It's almost a Meskin secret as Venison tamales are not easy to find.

On that note, how good/tasty are the wild hogs that I've heard have caused problems in parts of Texas?

They're starting to raise hell in parts of southern Utah. Being eradicated the same way, as they're an invasive species.
Yeah...heard they destroy everything in their path. Also heard that thousands of hungry people get free pork from the big hunts. At least it is not being wasted.

The meat is FANTASTIC! No other way to say it. Very tender if prepared properly, like melt in your mouth tender and not so greasy. They're a massive pest problem in the Southern US as well but are probably the absolute worst in Texas. They are capable of re-producing 3 times a year, if you can believe that! They destroy land, fences, eat all of the vegetation and protein feed, etc. They're heavily hunted in Texas.
What's funny is, there is a hog problem in the urban areas of Austin, Texas! LOL! Fuckin leftists won't allow them to be shot or hunted. Serves em right!
*The younger, smaller ones have better meat. The big Momma's and Poppa's meat is gross as the texture becomes problematic as they age. We refer to the babies as "footballs" because they look like little footballs with legs =)

Oh there are many ways to mow down the lil hoggies! The younger, smaller ones have better meat like I stated above.

Yes! FYI, I believe it was the Conquistador Hernando de Soto who brought wild hogs from Spain to South America in 1518. If time travel is possible, I may have to go pay that fucker a visit!!!!!!! Didn't take them long to make there way through Central America, Mexico and the US. Shows you have resilient and aggressive the little fuckers are!

I'll take the burger and that breakfast sandwich!!!!!
Ill take the burger substitute the ketchup with some spicy chipotle sauce. The sandwich...was not a fan of that one. The style of cheese and ham didn't look appetizing in my book.

Ha ha...yesterday I was. I had a case of the Mondays, I was hungry and upset I couldn't smash some food at the time I read the post, so in my mind I was making it just the way I wanted, and I was itching to get in and blast chest to start the week off. Mondays I may be snooty but Tuesdays I am good.

LOL! All is good.
For whatever reason no matter how tired I may be (typically I'm not from extra sleep over the weekend) on a Monday, Deadlifts always bring something out of me! I'll be tired the following day as I call it a "Monday Hangover". Was thinking about hitting Bench on Wednesdays (which I have to do this week scheduling reasons) but then my biceps are always irritated when Squatting the following day.

The struggle continues =)
I hear you...I hit legs on Sunday so Monday I am happy being off them in the gym unless Im doing standing cable flies. The struggle is real but I wouldn't trade waking up 3-5 times a night to change the position of my shoulders because of soreness for no pain at all and little shoulders that couldn't carry a sack of rice.

Oh I'm with ya! I feel sorry for those who'll never get to experience constant muscle soreness =) It really is kind of fun! I'll probably get sick of it when I'm older but that is a ways away.
