      the old man is back

Hey guys, I've taken a 2- 3 year break from Hardcore lifting. I started with Animal. I'm coming back to place where is all started. Ive made a new year resolution to get back at it. No more beer or smoking. I have stopped following the gym rat lifestyle due to working 60+ a week and a hernia disc in my back. Any tips for the old man, would be great. Im working on my diet now. I want to hit the ground running, jan 1st. My plan is lift 4 days a week and box with my coach 3 days a week as well. I wanna hit like like mike and look like toney freeman..LOL

Don't hit the ground running. Hit the ground at a fast walk first. Don't do too much too fast or you'll end up injured somehow and then set back before you hardly started. Speaking from experience here. I started back and immediately got hungry to lift the weights I once did and it got me a screwed up elbow. Slow and steady.

REminds me of The tortoise and the hair. From one thing learn many.....applying it here becomes....

You either go slow and steady non stop.... or go hard and REST!! but never a little of this and that. haha
How do you expect to run with the wolves at night if you spend all day stuntin with the puppies?

You risk tears if you let yourself be tamed.
