But what I've found what works the best is simply being cognizant of where your scapula is throughout the day, not just in the gym. No slouching over on your desk, making sure you're standing up straight, and FFS no "gamer" shoulders!!!!!

Thanks for the link! The issue for me is after wearing a vest under my uniform all day at work. My shoulders and upper back are so tight, I feel like the bowtie or something similar would be helpful.
Is the “bowtie” the only product of its kind beneficial for powerlifting/bodybuilding?

So I finally took the plunge and bought one around Christmas. My buddy had a couple different ones and let me try them. In my opinion, there was just no comparison with the other brands & using the bowtie. I've been using it at home around 30mins a night and can tell a HUGE difference. Took a few times to get use to getting it on & off by myself, but now it's a piece of cake. Again, imo totally worth the investment
"Ask yourself this: if everyone else is training once per week, what are you doing that's so different that you would expect to get better results than anybody else? You might have good genetics, be tough enough and disciplined enough to train hard... but so are a lot of people." - BOSS

Thanks for the input man! Definitely leaning towards the bowtie, May try and hold Out for an EFS sale.

That's exactly what I did. I think it was like, $6 bucks off + free shipping.

Also might sound crazy/weird, but something my wife and I bought that also has helped our neck/shoulders a lot is that My Pillow they have info commercials for. Now, we usually don't buy any stuff like that from tv commercials. One day I said "You know what, fuck it. Let's see if these really are any better. If not, we can just return them." and they absolutely are. Clearly no cheap plug here, as I do not work for them, lol. But I've noticed a big improvement in my sleep and shoulder pain. Not as cheap as a pillow from Walmart or Target, but we've both noticed a big difference. When you order it, you have to include your chest size and tshirt size, and they fill it based on you. It's good stuff especially if you wake up with shoulder/neck tightness any.

I have terrible posture, and my shoulders slump forward like a mofo. I’m not really sure how it came to be - I was like this before I ever started lifting, and don’t have a desk job - but I just recently discovered that, apparently, my rhomboid development is really poor compared to the rest of my back, so I’m trying to actively engage them and really pull my shoulder blades back with rows, pull aparts, etc - and hopefully I can get myself straightened out.
I think it also has to do with me having the flattest feet on earth...no arches make for caved in knees, which I think fucks with my entire postural alignment. I have a feeling that custom orthotics would help way more than some shoulder strap thing.
