Recently started getting pain behind my right kneecap when squatting (regardless of the weight). Any ideas on how to remedy this or warmups to alleviate the pain?

I had this same thing happen with my left knee and some time in the sauna and steam room took it away. Ever since then I spend every wednesday morning soaking in hot water for about 45 min. Haven't had it come back since. Not sure it's the same thing, but it's a cheap fix, so worth a shot.

Definitely willing to give that a shot. I seem to be able to grind through my lower volume sets of 1-3 reps. But on a repetition day where reps are 8-12+ its definitely a hindrance.
Do what Chris says! Plus: STOP doing legextensions completely. Period.
I knew some former national NPC guys that would never lockout knee extensions and would stop 10-20 degrees before full extension to really hammer the quads. Not sure of it's effectiveness but those men had MASSIVE Quads so I didn't question, LOL! Pretty sure they also didn't let their feet go all the way back on the descent as to also prevent knee inflammation.

THey are good for quads but horrible for the patella. Plus no one builds huge quads with just ext. Heavy squats are a must of course.

Doing this right now. It better help because it sucks lol

Only counts on the EliteFTS Belt Squat Machine. The knock offs and that stupid one that is used in football facilities and at "hardcore" gyms is half assed. Forgot what it's called but it's very stupid!
The Elite machine grabs hard as fuck in the hole! The pump/pain is absolutely ridiculous!
