Only counts on the EliteFTS Belt Squat Machine. The knock offs and that stupid one that is used in football facilities and at "hardcore" gyms is half assed. Forgot what it's called but it's very stupid!
The Elite machine grabs hard as fuck in the hole! The pump/pain is absolutely ridiculous!
That is good to know! I was planning on possibly purchasing one for the gym I go too!

They will love you there if you do so =) Plus, since there isn't a bar on your back, you can hit the Belt Squat Machine 2-3 times a week without irritating your upper body. It also make the legs feel great after a bunch of Squatting or Leg Pressing! Really pumps blood in there and you can vary your stance with ease.

Man! You just made me want to buy this tomorrow now. That is exactly what I am looking for.
Yup! FUNNY you say that for Mike Bell and Stan E on his podcast and he mentioned how bad leg ext were and puts the knee in a position of dislocation.
The specific machine I was using, I feel, really puts you at a heightened risk - which I should have noticed before crippling myself. It’s a hammer strength plate loaded one, where each leg is independent of each other. Since the weight is loaded on separate sides, the motion of it brings your ankle out laterally, and at 90 degrees and beyond of flexion, it really pulls the patella out to the side. This is where mine popped out, with 90 lb on each side. Not only is it a bad position for the patella, but all the strain is on the outer portion of the quads, and much less activation from the VMO.
Nothing good ole Comp Squats, Belt Squats and SS Yoke Bar Squats can't fix =)
I would add front squats to that list...
Also...the belt squats...absolute must. I haven’t used the elite fts one that was mentioned, but my gym recently bought a pit shark which I’ve been digging. For a while, I was rigging up one of those cable machines with the movable arms for them - put the arms together in the center and as low as you can get them, and then clip the low pulleys to a dip belt. Effective, but limited by the weight on the stack. I’d really like to try one of Matt wenning’s machines, but there’s not much point because I’m not gonna buy it, and neither is he gym lol.

Nice, but Pit Sharks don't hold a candle to Elite's machine! Better than nothing though.
No front Squats for me! They do nothing for me, plus the SS Yoke Bar hits the exact same muscles and you can maintain more of your competition Squat stance.
