      I'd avoid those E-JO!

a little greek yogurt with a spoonful of raisins may help, also you cant go wrong with a handful of dried cranberries and almonds. Oatmeal is always a good idea.

All of the Animal products have caffeine, but there are sugar free options like the new Animal Energy. Not sure if Universal has anything caffeine free and sugar free in the line up.

I guess all the drinks you have tried have carbohydrates in them. Gatorade for example. I know NO Xplode has quite some carbs too.
Of course those will raise your blood sugar levels...
Since you´re a diagnosed diabetic, can´t you just use the adequate amount of insulin to bring them back down?
Or, doesn´t training itself lower your sugars to a normal level? Have you measured you levels post training?

Obviously, this isn´t supposed to be some smart ass advice. I genuinely wondering this.

Something else that just came to my mind:

High stim products cause an increase in adrenalin. Which further causes the liver to release glucose into the blood stream. So, even an absolutely carb free product might cause your sugars to rise if it contains stimulants.

But like I already said, shouldn´t you be burning those off during training anyway?
It would be really interesting to see what your levels are after training...

Caffeine and sugar free would be Animal PUMP when the red stim cap is removed.

BOOM! That is why his BG is elevated post pre workout. Stims do that to some degree in everyone.

I guess we also have to look at why you are tired. I try and never use pre workouts to be able to draw on my own energy and will power. Sleeping ok? Are you having hard spikes in BG all day?
