Same here. I wear shoes if I absolutely have to (I'm in the cul de sac instead of inside etc.) There's not a tennis shoe on earth that will save you if you drop a plate or dumbbell on your toe. On the other hand, being barefoot makes me stay aware of what I'm doing.

One other thing is people who wear shoes are so afraid of the sudden acute injury that they forget what those shoes are doing slowly to them every day. Not just their foot but their ankles, knees, lower bac etc.

I'd rather just stay barefoot and be careful. Been working fine for 18 years of training at home.

their feet hadn't been damaged by modern shoes. I don't know how modern basketball players can handle the shoes they give them now. The high ankle is why you see most of them in knee braces after a few years.

as flat of a sole as possible.
Iīve been wearing indoor soccer shoes for quite a while now. I also like the 5 finger shoes or all barefoot.

Get the one with the little rubber knobs on the sole. Kids wear those so they donīt slip running around at home...

Orthotics have saved my knees. And I know quite a few pros that say the same thing...
