Oh man! I know that feeling. When I used to race motocross I had broken my ribs a few times so I know that discomfort.
Ya it's definitely impacted my 2 mile run for the Army more than anything else now. For the most part, lifting doesn't irritate it any more besides the occasional flare up. But running still irritates it almost every time (but not nearly as bad).
