      Beet root powder

      Anybody have any good recipes or tricks or anything to make beet root powder taste less like whale’s ass? This shit is rough lol

      Ha ha... Shamu rectum is in high demand this time of year. Not sure if you will be able to get any. I chase nasty stuff down with tea or flavored water. Something I can chug quickly and wash all the nastiness away.

      I think I’m going to try and mix it in less water and just drink it faster. It’s not HORRIBLE, just would prefer a better taste of possibie. I’ve seen a lot of people mix it with apple juice but my carbs are already laid out pretty well, so I’d like to not add any fruit juice

      What is the purpose of drinking the beet root? Are you detoxifying your liver?

      If you're looking for an overall health supp, get a super greens formulation or a wheat grass powder (plenty of organic non-gmo that are affordable).

      Yeah, anything that is easy to guzzle with just the smallest amount of flavor does the job for me. Its quantity over quantity...larger amount of better tasting stuff will eventually knock out the shitty stuff. But then again, I am the guy that takes a heaping spoon of fiber powder straight to the mouth at night and swig some beer to wash it down.

      I take it for the health benefits, good for you BP, good for NO (pre workout leads to very good pumps!) but i have mine in capsule, which makes it easier to take.

      I used to do this with creatine a looooong time ago when I was playing football. Creatine mono used to have the most terrible, sandy texture to it, and didn’t mix for crap in anything - so I got to where I’d dump a scoop in the back of my mouth and wash it down with some OJ.

      I do this with all powders...from pre-workout to fiber. ( smaller scoop powders. Cant imagine taking a full scoop of whey and trying to wash it down quickly)

      Yup, this is why I wanted to give it a whirl. Last check up, BP was higher than normal so I thought I'd give it a try. I will say yesterday was the first arm workout I've had since using it (and no other changes to diet/supps) and I was pretty vascular for my current conditioning
