I used to do this with creatine a looooong time ago when I was playing football. Creatine mono used to have the most terrible, sandy texture to it, and didn’t mix for crap in anything - so I got to where I’d dump a scoop in the back of my mouth and wash it down with some OJ.
Way to go. I take almost all powders like that. By far the worst are MSM, Glucosamin and Chondroitin
I do this with all powders...from pre-workout to fiber. ( smaller scoop powders. Cant imagine taking a full scoop of whey and trying to wash it down quickly)
Of course except protein powder. We´re talking about stuff that tastes horrific. Most protein products are pretty good these days

I don't know why but these responses made me start thinking about the old school WWF tag teams and guys like Hacksaw Jim D, Steamboat, Junkyard Dog. Maybe its because I relate those words like savage and beastmode with those guys.
Anybody have any good recipes or tricks or anything to make beet root powder taste less like whale’s ass? This shit is rough lol
Play with the mix until you find your taste preference, but I usually mix 1 scoop ( tablespoon worth I thing or 7000mg ) with about 16oz of water into the blender. Add either a couple slices of apple, lemon, or sometimes a banana, and mix er up.
Then just swig it down.
To make PROGRESS, you have to learn to be COMFORTABLE with being UNCOMFORTABLE.
Those who worry the most about overtraining are the ones that don't train HARD enough and aren't STRONG enough to need to worry about it.
