I am sure I am like many of you when it comes to lifting... I love it. But life does seem to find a way to get in the way through different factors such as injury, work, family, and so on. Recently my work schedule has bumped up 60 hours to 80 plus hours a week. At 60 I could still get in 6 days of training. Now with the new schedule I am finding my self only getting in 3 to 4. I have adapted my lifts on those days to cover all areas and even found myself doing more cardio but mentally I feel like I need to do more. I use the advice I have heard in here... listen to your body and I know that attempting to add those extra lifting days back into the mix "may" burn my candle too quickly. Just kind of curious what you guys do when life gets in the way. And I know the simple answer is just suck it up and make it work but a break in the routine that many of us set with our lifting becomes life and my break in the routine scares me because I don't want to lose what I have been putting in.
