Has anyone here ever played around with carb cycling to drop bodyfat? Curious if you did high/low or high/moderate/low rotations

Protein and fat intake remains constant during the week. Only carbs fluctuate up and down. During high carb day are 2g/lb of body weight. During medium carb days, intake is lowered to 75% and low carb is lowered 25%.

Not really carb cycling in the daily intake sense, but I have done a scheme where I would basically drop out the carb intake for the last half of the day. Seemed to work alright, but it was combined with other dietary changes, so I'm not really sure what effect that had on it's own.
Take that weekly schedule above with the high/med/low carb days...if you add up the total carbs consumed during the week, and spread it out evenly each day, results should be the same.
Protein was solid at 200 grams throughout the week, fat was also moderate around 135 grams if I remember that correctly. It’s been a few years. I want to say I did this to go from 165 to 146lb on a “pre contest” diet. To be fair, it could have been more of the twice a day workout sessions and fasted cardio. I did lose muscle through this and lost serious weight on every lift.
In the end it’s kind of a “shrug - meh?” If it “works.”
