Took this kick-ass post workout drink..AND I LOVE IT!
Torrent is the fastest absorbing protein (20g of protein) and has a killer cherry taste. The fast absorption rate is a good thing for after a workout.
Remember right after a workout you need more carbs for replenishment and a small amount of protein, than, one hour later you need more protein and moderate carbs (depending on your goals or diet stage)
And before Torrent I took (like every other lifter) whey protein, dextrose and glutamine. And I was bloated..VERY BLOATED. You see Torrent has this Waxy Maize Starch. Waxy Maize Starch (WMS) passes through the stomach very fast and will not cause you to get bloated or have gas like other products...and WMS IS ALSO THE BEST FOR glycogen replenishment!
