Anyone know what happened to Sean-Solid Dreams? He dropped off the map.
I'm friends with him on facebook, he's been sick lately. Last I heard it was strep, flu, and a sinus infection. He's ok overall, just really sick at the moment.

I was very tight this AM. I did some stretches and foam rolled before I left the house and stretched again after the 275 set. 315 set went really good. 345 felt heavy as fuck today. I went to bed visualizing myself making my 5x5 today. Patience.

I know that 345 pissed you off. Here is something I do when Im tight. I do my regs then when I go for the top spot I move it up 45lbs do one slow and controlled wait 3 min then move down to the expected weight and go for gold. That one rep wakes up the muscles for that one rep weight again but instead you go lighter and get your reps in. Good Shit.

Solid work Mike, I know it can be upsetting, but learn what you can and get ready for next time.
Also like the added glutamine, when money allows I'm going to pick up another tub.
And Sean is alive and.... well I would say well but as Phil pointed out quite sick.

I can see this. Anytime I pyramid up in weight, when I'm at ~80% of the maximum weight I'm going to use that day, it feels fairly heavy. On the way back down, that same weight feels much lighter even after banging out 2-3+ sets of 10.
Yea when you go up to your max and you know 3 reps is key push it up above and those muscle fibers get ready for that same weight that you just did, then the max seems like nothing. I love this technique it has gotten me more PR's than I have ever dreamed of.

***** Did my 5 reps with 225 and missed the left peg reracking. Crash. I was tired and wasn't into it today. I was thinking of backing off as I sat on the end of the bench with my head down. I had read MACHINE'S new article this AM on my cellphone before I went to the gym.
This started going through my mind. "the fight has not left me yet; the cannon's roar has not shaken my firmament sufficiently so that I could ever be stricken from my battlefield." Was I shaken? Fuck no. I'm an ANIMAL. I SNAFU'd a bit but I wasn't out of the game. Loaded up 275, Boom. 315, Boom. 340x3 just OK. I got up after that set and this guy was right in front of me looking down. FUCK YOU. That's when I realized it. There's blood in the water today ... and it' MINE. All those little fucking piranha's were expecting me to fail today. They all wanted a piece of me. Fuck you bitches. That was 340lbs. Ninty percent of you cum in your shorts at night dreaming of hitting that and I did it three times!!! It was on then. I could have kept benching all day. On the decline I saw some of them and the wonder in their eyes. "When is he going to stop?" Stealing dreams and snuffing out fires became the buisness of the day. Tomorrow is squats and I'm going to destroy Tokyo.

Hell yeah!! I'm still fired up. With Project Stak running through my veins right now I can't be stopped. Tomorrow the beast rises out of the ocean!!!
Like I said, work is kicking my ass right now. The last few weeks have been major stress for me. When that happens my vision problem gets worse and that's probably why I missed the damn rack. I don't feel bad though 'cause I saw a guy deadlifting with the smith machine and I was more embarrassed for him than me.
