“I realized early on that success was tied to not giving up. Most people in this business gave up and went on to other things. If you simply didn’t give up, you would outlast the people who came in on the bus with you.”
Cardio is a different story.. I have been using Audible during cardio. David Goggins book was good and got through some mile. Currently listening to The Five Families
Very interesting! I've noticed Audio books becoming hugely popular with older individuals.

Limp Bizkit radio on Pandora is what was almost always on at the former Metroflex in my city. It was heavy, but not offensively heavy so even the women could tolerate it.....at least while me and my boys were there (insert devilish smile). I'd often times through Sepultura or something badass on there. The brotha's LOVED Rage Against the Machine and actually would request it regularly, LOL! I like to think I was an influence at the gym =)

no time to actually read...so why not educate self while listening and doing other shit. There are some great books on there. Recently drove 3400 miles roundtrip to bury my dad and listened to a book on that trip also it helped break up the long periods of music that stay pumping from my stereo.
Had my speakers turned up in my office so I could hear the track ( soft singing at the start)...I was calmly looking at the artwork on my screen and noticing the Escobar candle in the bottom right and then the music hit. I jumped out of my seat and struggled to get the volume back down to a reasonable level. Co-workers gave me a few looks
Black/goth/doom metal never did it for me! I do appreciate the intensity however.
