What is the opinion of using a foam roller on your lower back here on the FORVM? I personally am a huge fan of the foam roller, as I find it speeds up my recovery greatly. I've read and heard mixed reviews on foam rolling your lower back, some say to avoid it just because the area isn't dense enough and you run a high risking of knocking your spine out of alignment (among other issues), while others swear by it. I've always tried to roll every part of my body that I could, and I'm interested to see what everyone on here has to say on the subject.
