Kept the weights lighter and the Reps higher for this first week's Shoulder training! Pump was sweeeeeeeet! Since I'm dropping weight the energy levels aren't all that great and pushing the weights is a bit draining. Doesn't mean I won't go heavy later in the wave! Last night this plan of attack sounded good =)
*Got my roster for my boy's teeball team! Going to be interesting! My first time coaching. I have no clue what to expect but have some other coaches helping me with advice on a variety of fronts so it won't be as bad as I think. Jumping into something completely new always makes me a bit anxious =)
**Posting this comment today 3-2-20! Didn't get around to posting this session Friday. Also, three nights of interrupted sleep drained my energy for possibly training over the weekend! Running on fumes today.
Pre-Workout:
Upper Band Stretching & Lower Static Stretching
Pre: Pump (no stims)
Post: Creatine & Glutamine
Post-Post: Protein Shake before Bed
Seated Neutral Grip DB Front Raises (This was surprisingly difficult! Brought both DB's up at the same time)
22 Pounds - 12 Reps
22 Pounds - 11 Reps
22 Pounds - 10 Reps
No training yesterday! Was wiped out after eating dinner. Going on day 4 of interrupted sleep =)
Looking to finish up this wave's week 1 of training. Got Legs and Arms left. Plan on hitting Legs tonight (going to have to dig deep!) and Arms Thursday. Have a dinner meeting Wednesday with my Dad and our business partner/CEO. Busy week!
Had a BLAST coaching! Many of the parents said how practice went a lot better than they thought =) This is going to be very fun! My son is having the time of his life =) =)
So glad coaching has started out great...remember it is all about the kids and having fun at that age. ( not telling you anything you don't already know ) but I know that at times parents of other players can tarnish the idea of fun. Im sure you will be a great coach
Decided to hit Arms! Nowhere near enough energy to push through legs. Felt gooooooood arms were pumped up like someone hooked up an air hose to my veins! =) Kept the weights lighter and the Reps higher.
Finally slept through the night last night uninterrupted! Should give me enough energy to hit legs. Am wanting to get in some cardio Thursday, will be too tired after coaching to hit Legs than. I'm down to 263.8 and hope to dip closer to 260 by the end of the week =) All depends on my energy levels, will see how I feel later today. The interrupted sleep catches up to you quick no matter how much caffeine you ingest, LOL!
*Going to try taking a pack of Nitro before and after training for enhanced recovery. Was worried it would upset my stomach because I have a protein shake an hour or two later.

No training of any kind since Tuesday! Been wore out for a variety of reasons. Coaching tee ball yesterday really took it out of me. Will get plenty of sleep this weekend (going to Mass Saturday evening to avoid the loss of sleep Sunday). Looking to get in Legs over the weekend and start the second week of the wave Monday =) Also looking forward to more daylight in the days ahead.
*My wife went to Whole Foods to get some fish and other ingredients for dinner tonight (making fried fish tacos in the air fryer) and my favorite brewery released their Spring seasonal!!!!!! There were only 4 sixers left and she grabbed them all =) What a doll! Weather is going to be gorgeous this weekend too.
GET SOME,
ALTERED BEAST
P.S: Enjoy y'alls weekend! Hitting legs over the weekend!
No training over the weekend! Plenty of interrupted sleep. NO MORE excuses though!!! Going to get back to training. Hit legs tonight after coaching tee ball.
YES SIR! Hit Legs on a Monday with a full day's work and coaching tee ball on the schedule! Would have done more volume but didn't want to exhaust myself. Plus my legs gassed out quick! Felt good. No Squatting this wave, want to give my spine a bit of rest as it's been stiff lately. My inversion table helps a lot but having a bar on my back tightens it up rather quickly. I'm absolutely loving coaching tee ball =) fun times. My baby boy is having a blast too! My daughter even has a little friend that comes with her Mom each practice too =) so cute!
Keeping the weight down! Lowest I've been was Saturday morning at 260.6. Currently 263.8 and expect to dip into the 250's by the end of the week!
*Added NITRO back into the mix. It really makes a difference! No stomach irritation either even with having a shake before bed an hour or two later.
Pre-Workout:
Upper Band Stretching & Lower Static Stretching
Pre: Pump (no stims) & Nitro
Post: Nitro, Creatine & Glutamine

Hit it hard last night! Had a sweet pump! Despite the interrupted sleep and my kiddos both currently having some congestion/coughing, I'm happy that I'm still getting training in =) No excuses! Feels good, just trying not to burn myself out with everything that's going on.
Would like to get some cardio in, but am feeling burned out today! Felt pretty good the last few days. Plus I've got a business dinner this evening; hopefully, that won't take up too much of my time! I love our bed time ritual we have with the babies it's too cute and fun =)
*Bodyweight was 262.00 flat this morning! 250's is on the horizon!

The business dinner went longer than I expected! LOL! You get to talking have some beer and vino....you know how that goes =) Regardless, no training was done. Will hit Back today! Feeling surprisingly good for getting to bed late.

Thanks, I really appreciate that!
I keep them focused and performing stations/drills and they seem to be having a blast =)
Posting Thursday's training today! Hit it hard but cut it short due to time. Coronavirus craze has set in. I'll be working from home.
My wife went out grocery shopping Thursday night after we put the babies to bed. She sent me pics were entire rows of shelves were EMPTY! So I took Friday off and watched the babies while she got up super early and hit up a bunch of stores. She came back and we all went out to more stores and it was NUTS! People everywhere, super long check out lines, everyone seemed edgey, etc. We've filled both of our fridges and freezers with food and even stock my parents spare freezer too! Just want to make sure we have food, kind of have to do this because everyone else is panicking and trying to buy everything under the sun.
The weekend was fun and relaxing minus so much interrupted sleep lately. Pollen and aerosol allergens are extremely heavy at the moment! Lots of coughing, running noses, sneezing, etc. So no training over the weekend.
*Was 265.5 after the weekend! Was surprised by this, but getting down to 260 isn't a problem. I'll have to get in cardio somewhere to get into the 250's. Since I'm at home working, I can train while the babies are napping and can get in cardio at night. We shall see! Going to be an interesting couple of weeks..

Posting Thursday's training today! Hit it hard but cut it short due to time. Coronavirus craze has set in. I'll be working from home.
Same here - whole department was sent home on Monday. It's funny how rice, noodles and toilet paper is missing from the stores here but all the fresh stuff still is available.

How is the US government reacting to Coronavirus?
Like everyone else, enforcing government authority. All restaurants and bar are to be closed with the exception of delivery services here in Houston. Stores are limiting people that can enter at a time, etc. Good news is the grocery stores are still getting food in! That rice and noodles have zero nutrients. Last time I checked, fruit and veggies had anti-viral nutrients/properties. Juuuuuuuuust sayin =)
Well I'm working from home and having hell getting my computer updated so I can run my work email from home. We are minimizing people in the offices and only certain personnel in certain areas of the buildings. It's mostly stressful for my wife. She's worried to death about the kids and me driving her crazy being at home =) She's doing everything she can around the house to keep busy. We've taken the kids on two bike rides so far today!
Decided to hit Shoulders because I've recently trained Arms before Shoulders. All I'll say is I'm stuck at home and thank The LORD I have my own home gym and cardio equipment! My wife's yoga studio shut down, she was bummed about that. Everyone in the neighborhood seems to be out walking/riding bikes too with their kids. Very happy we have a big front and backyard! Kiddos seem to be happy.
Good news is, we've got tons of alcohol and an endless supply of yummy food =) may get ants in my pants and have to go to Whole Foods and grab some more of my favorite brewery's seasonal! We shall see. Lifting to commence!

Came into the office to get caught up, heading out soon. I do believe I'll be getting a laptop for home use for work purposes! Will be great for a variety of reasons. My current home use laptop is outdated and cannot update to new software required to access my work computer. Our IT people spent two days trying to figure it all out, oh well!
Trying not to get stir crazy and drive my wife crazy while I'm at home for a while =) at least the grub and beer is very very good, LOL!

Just hit up some cardio yesterday! Not feeling training today. Will hit Legs tomorrow! Got plenty of time since I'm working from home =) might get in some more cardio today, we shall see!
Hit up more cardio last Thursday! Haven't trained since. Kids have been on a no nap/weird nap schedule lately! Haven't had the time or energy to train. Plus with the whole planet feeling like we've entered an apocalyptic zombie movie, there's been plenty of drinking =) been keeping the weight in the 261/262 range though!
We were at our neighbors swimming in the pool for 4 hours yesterday than they came over for dinner and we had fajitas and ritas. Needless to say, no training today =) Plus my gut is a bit tore up. Trying to find a daily routine I can maintain and also trying not to let my wife & kids go completely nuts! That'll be the toughest part for sure.
*My IT guy hooked me with up with a sweet ASUS laptop to access my work computer from home. Glad I'm able to work from home and don't have to dick with going to my office =)
