I am with you. I just said they "looked " dry. I don't know if it is the color or what....Keep posting. I just didn't feel this round of burgers.
Eat al you can and eat some for me... I recently started a "diet" and cut out all the good stuff- cheese, beer, bread( except for the one piece I have my sandwich at lunch), and all those delicious ice creams and pastries you post.
Looks like they were cooked on a flat top and got some nice crust on both sides of the patties. That explains the "dry" look.
could be... I may have just been picky that day I looked at them. But I do love looking at the food pics when a new batch comes up. those pot stickers are still on my mind.

Correct
You want to cook at a high temperature to sear and char the outside. this gives enhanced flavor to the burger.
If you ever go to a fine dining butcher shop/steakhouse this is how they prepare steaks by cooking at a very high heat for a short period of time. This helps keep moisture on the inside and prevents it from drying out.

I cook the majority of the foods pictures. I don't eat out much at all.
Maybe 30-40$ a month if that.
You are cooking that food? Damn, thought is was all restaurant bought. Well its safe to say you are a damn good cook. I may have to get down in the kitchen at my other job and share some of my creations as well.

I run a substance abuse rehab for teens, manage a bar, work the door at another place when needed, marry people, and volunteer for a few groups. I stay busy. But I like to get down in the kitchen after hours at the bar and see what late night creations I can come up with.
