Thin to Win

I started to cut a few weeks ago. For all of you who have not been readin my past posts, I am Marine. I am attached to the 26th MEU now and am about to head out at the end of this year.

Recently, the Marines decided to change thier body fat standards and pft standards. This caused alarm amongst alot of Marines but myself. My dream of being 250 solid rock just won't come true right now, because I got to make the weight first and cut-up. So I started the much put-off and regretting Cut work-out. I hate cutting, all the damn Cardio!

Here it is,

Since I have to cut massive amounts of fat and weight, I moved to this workout. I do sustainment for everything but my legs, because well, I run, bike, row, elipticle, something massive cardio for 1 hour everyday. This is what the workout looks like:

Sunday: 15 minutes, sustainment pull-ups/back
45-1 hour of cardio
15 minutes of abs
massive amounts of stretching

Monday: 15 minutes, sustainment chest
45-1hour of cardio
massive amounts of stretching

Tuesday: 15 minutes, sustainment for shoulders
45-1hour of cardio
15 minutes of abs
massive amounts of stretching

Wednesday: 15 minutes, sustainment for arms
45-1hour of cardio
massive amounts of stretching

Thursday: 45-1hour of cardio
20 minutes of abs or more
massive amounts of stretching

Friday: 5+ Mile Run
massive amounts of stretching

Saturday: relax

Eating consists of 4-6 meals with lots of vegs, lots of fruit, and for the dinner meal somewhere around a sensible fish or chicken meal. Very light on the Carbs and definately counting the calories. Nothing but water all day. 4.5 liters or more.

I hear it, I see it, I feel it! CLANG!!! CLANG!!! The air is so thick with the sour smell of sweat, I can almost taste it. Then out of no where I smell sweet fucking roses and vanilla...what the FUCK!!! I look around and some chick walks in and flaunts her little ass and short short shorts and tiny tanktop around the gym. FUCKING CIVS wish they weren't allowed in my gym. She broke all my fucking concentration...great ass though....

I turn back to the Eliptical...I start my program...THE HILL...I hate the goddamn hill...burns the shit out of my legs when I have to go backward...I set the resistance to 3...na fuck that...4...na...fuck that 6 you aint a bitch and you aint goin easy. I set the time to 45 minutes and I start to hate life. The first few minutes aint so bad, you get the sweat rollin, the machine pumping. Then you start to feel it. Legs acheing, by minute 9 and 1/2 you wanna stop and right when you wanna stop, you hit the middle of the hill where the fucking program gives you the finger and says backward bitch! So you start that slow progress backward making sure you keep your strides to 190 atleast per minute or more and make sure your heart rate stays up way over 160. I try to keep mine in the 170 range, but of course when you lean forward to grab some H20, the machine starts to slow a bit and you wanna kick yourself because you go below the 190. Fuck it whatever I want motherfucking water....

Slug that shit down and prepare yourself for the next 9 1/2 grueling minutes of uphill battle literally and all the while your goin backwards. The sweat rolls into your eyes, fills your ears where your buds are drowning out.....I FUCKING HATE YOU, YOUR SUCH A LIAR....so all the while you got to wipe your ears out while still keeping above 190 so you can hear the motivation that you need to keep you going.

Then you feel it, the resistance and incline raise and your fucking toes and feet start to feel a little knumb because you are now near the top of the hill. You want to stop to stretch, but only pussy's stop in the middle of the workout to stretch. Then you think...OH let me get some water and drop my cap so I can stop and pick it up...fucking wrong bitch....keep pumping....and finally the machine tells you to go forward...Such Relief....or not....fuck your at the top of the hill and well it don't feel much better going forward...but you push on.

9 1/2 minutes later you reach the middle of the hill and your about ready to fall down, legs feel like shit....jello...you start to loose balance so you grab the handles but not to affect your workout...no cheating motherfucker....you push on tryin to keep the beat of the music.... finally you are nearing the end, just 4 minutes left and it is time to step it up to 200+ strides a minute, got to burn it out....breath is so hard-comming....heart rate is at 176 you keep pushing till finally machine says cool down....you slow down....you start to breath....you realize you have 15 minutes of abs and you hate yourself....but where there is pain there is strength.....so you trudge on....

I wake up usual time usual shit....head into the head to take a piss and mornin shit....look in the mirror and I notice that to donut looks especially small this particular mornin. I take a measurement....36 1/2....not impressed but content.

Moving down from 39 is a definate improvement, but I still got like 4 months of cutting fuck I hate cutting....

Looking round as I walk in.... I notice it is especially crowded today....must be thursday everyone tryin to get that workout in before the weekend so they can get a good drink in and not feel guilty.... not this guy....I prefer it when it is a ghost town and I am here on Saturday....

I decide as I look at how crowded the Cardio machines are that I am going to jump some rope for a hour....then I see it....fat bitch gets off the row machine....thank GOD...I hate jumping rope for a hour....I would rather kill my whole body, then just my legs.

I mount that motherfucker and I choose the only best course....10,000 meters....at level 10 the highest level....not easy yet, but when it get there, I will have to start doin more.

I suck down my first swig of water because I am going to need that shit....unfortunately there is no spot for my water....so I will have to be careful not to let myself stop to much.

I start rowwin....and like normal the first 2000 meters flys by....I get some hydro and go....15 sec pause is all I allow myself. I make sure to row no less than 32 strokes a minute and try to keep perfect for, slightly leaned back during the leg push portion....to straight back for the arm pull to finish it off.

Another 1000 meters go by and by now arms are bitchin...legs are cryin...sweat is pouring and I am out of breath...good....swig some more water....shirt is almost completely soaked. Time to step it up a notch....no less than 35 strokes per second....keep going....

Now I reach the 4000 meters left mark, just past half, but not time to relax...turn it down a notch to 32 strokes a minute no less....just to let the whiney muscles break for a minute....now 3000 left....now 2000 left....fuck I am tired....my mind starts to wonder and think of excuses to stop...I am so close....push motherfucker.....

1000 now.....faster....keep it at 38 strokes per minute....sweat starts to sting my eyes....my chest is pounding....legs groaning.....back acheing.....almost there 200 meters left.....push it as hard as you can....40 per minute....42 per minute....44....and.....done.....

I fucking hate that machine....leaves you feeling like jello all through.....well tommarrow is another day....one step closer to weight.

Daddy....Daddy....wake up....wake up Daddy....I open my eyes and I see my daughter jumping on me on my bed. I look around and the room is bright and my daughter grabs me and gives me the biggest hug and kiss a little 2 year old can manage....I says good mornin baby what are you doin? Waking you up for work daddy....then it hits me....work....I have to do my check weigh in. The day I have been waiting for for 3 weeks now. I get my shit ready and I am out the door in about half an hour making sure to take my pak, cuts, and gluecoseimine (had to buy some ran out of flex, till package comes in) and I hit the gym.

I get to the gym and fucking ear buds have shorted out one of the ears again....fuck....I go through ear buds atleast 1 every 6 months due to all the sweat that I put out and the hard-work that I do....fuck.... I run a couple streets up to the PX and purchase some. This took 15 minutes out of my workout...thats ok, I planned a easy workout today with some sauna for my sore legs from the massive row workout from yesterday.

I climb aboard the Eliptical and I start running to the sound of ....BACK IN BLACK, I HIT THE SACK.....I decide that this is going to be 30 minutes of sprintin....I keep my strides per minute atleast 220 for the whole run...plus 4 on resistance. I manage to beat the calorie counter to 468 before the 30 minutes is up...plus the cool down.

I put my time in, in the Sauna and I am drenched from the workout...shirt is so wet, you can see through it. The women are staring at me...I big tatto on my right pec and you can see it through my white wet t-shirt...I start out the door. Hit the squadron and change over real quick for my weigh and tape.

He heights me at 70 inches and I weigh in at 201. I tape a 17.5 inch neck and a 36.5 inch waist. I feelin good, he works it out to be 18% bodyfat.

I was taped round beginning of Feburary and I was 21% BF and I weighed in at 218. I I taped 18 for neck and 39 for waist. This was the end of my bulk phase.

In the last 3 weeks I made progress of 17 lbs, 2.5 inches on my waist and 3% BF loss. I am feeling good now and am ready for more cuttin....

Its Saturday...again...I jump in my truck and blare the country on my way to the gym. As I pull up in the parking lot I notice there is only 3 vehicles there. Perfect I thought, time for some quiet and good ole' clangin.

I step inside and start breathing that familar scent of metal and sweat...I inhale deeply as this is my house...this is my time...I head for the DB's....chest day....cardio....

I push my buds into my ears and start to stretch...good stretch because today we have some flys. I decide to do fly's on the fly machine do to my shoulder not being 100% in the last couple of weeks. I grab some 35's and lay back. As I have them hands facing each other on my chest, I decide to do something I have never done before, twist as I go up to the top so that palms face my feet. I push through 25 for a warm-up set and by the end, my pecs had a little burn in em'...I don't know where it came from but it felt good.

I decided to grab some 50's and get me 15. I felt the burn hard at about rep 7 and I was able to push through 15. Right in the middle of the pec, a good burn...break for 30 seconds and it is time to go again. 55's this time...oh shit...rep six and it hurts....rep 10 and I can not wait for 15 get here....control it don't rush. Finally 15 and I am heaving. I barely made it...good.

So one more set with 55's and I move to the fly machine. I set it at 120 and do 3 sets of 15 slow sqeeze at the top fly's. I am fucking burning by the end of these sets. I head to the elipticle for 45 mins of cardio. Time to do the interval trainin. I am done...kept my strides per minute at 210 or more. I find that the cardio is comming easier and easier. I am pushing myself more each time and it keeps getting easier. I am going to have to add more resistance. I did this session on 4. Maybe 5 or 6 next time.

I felt a difference today though, no animal cuts, off week and even though my metabolism is still up and I am still loosing, it feels wierd without the cuts, not as energetic.

So I took two days off for rest and because of the easter weekend. I was very careful in what I ate so as not to spoil this cut and I am doin great.

As is stand in front of the mirror flexing and thinking....looking....assessing....I need to take more of the stomach obviously, but lets check the progress....35 1/2....good another inch gone, that makes 3 and 1/2 since I started this cut. Keep going. Can not wait till I go back on the cuts Friday....

Short workout today, have to be at work early today...fuck

So I did behind the next lat pulls for 15 ss set with pull-ups to exhaustion leaning back far as possible (palms away)....30 second break... regular Lat Pulls....nice controlled....good squeeze 120 lbs stack....superset pull-ups (palms facing you)....Lat pulls one more time by 15 again, good squeezing at the fullest contraction....ss with hands facing each other pull-ups.

Move directly to the flat bench and start one arm rows....40 lbs....15 reps....slow controlled....second set 45 lbs.....15 reps slow and controlled....burning much now....good....30 second break again....breath....45 lbs again.....15 reps slow and controlled....done....30 mins on the elipicle. I am done....tommarrow make-up for today.

Umm....nice tits....god I got to get in the gym....I park and walk-in....this is not my usual spot, because it is closed due to re-flooring....grab a towel and head across the walk...

Wow...I am liking this....small....old machines.....lots of real iron non of that rubber shit....hell ya....fat bitch in the corner nods to me to sign in....I did already time to start working....

So I see the nice iron DB's and it is chest day....incline fly's....first warm-up with some push-ups....25-40 some where in there....I just go till I feel warm....we are warm now....35's start simple and easy and see what we can make of it....slow and controlled I start the movement....out....in....1.....out......in.....2.. ..

Finally, I get to 15, I decide to step it up a notch....ss with push-ups to failure....30 second break....I dropped some shock therapy down the hatch on Enforcers suggestion and I am fucking pumped today.

So I complete set 2 and 3 ss with push ups to failure using 40 and 45's. I decide I am going to do something a little crazy...ss...with push-ups all day and they drop-set at the end of the day....fuck it....DB press....flat bench...with a twist, at the bottom, hands face each other....at the top hands face feet....I do 12, 12, 12, with 40,45,50 ss each with push-ups to failure....chest is buring so much and tri's are failing...only getting like 5 or 6 push-ups....fuck it....

Next...Flat Barbel Bench....165 x 3....shit was hard as fuck....felt like a weak bitch....kept pushing....got 3 and immediately droped to 155....1....2....3....barley.....immediately drop to 135....1....2.....3.....finally I am done....35 mins on the bike....interval....20 mins of abs....

Abs....I love em' and hate em'.....I did the roller 3 sets x 21....that equals....middle....right....left....which counts for 3....all the way to 21....

Then I did both sides 3 times....25 of side raises on incline bench....felt pretty good, didn't want to stop....damn job....

Pak, Nitro, Flex, Cuts, 30 mins prior, to gym, 11 minute run there. 11 minute Run back, Nitro on return, 30 mins later 1/2 cup oats and Animal Max. Cuts few hours later

Ah, Leg Day...I love fucking Leg Days. bye the way, I paid for this Leg day for about a Week and a Half. I haven't been this fucking sore in a long time. I just didn't want to stop. I don't know if it was exactly smart...fuck it....I am good now...


Pak, Nitro, Flex, Cuts, Wake up, 30 mins prior to workout ST. Storm during, nitro directly after, 30 mins follow with Max/1/2 cup oats. Cuts few hours later

Had to take a day off to give my body some recovery time. I was so sore that I could hardly walk. It is a good sore.

I had to work for the majority of the day and did not get off while the gym was still open. We was commin back to the River. Needed a day of rest anyways
