I'm working on getting it. Change is what AB wants and that is what I give him. He has me set up to lose slow and that is what it is. Like pushing a boulder I know won't move.

So after no legs last weekend to let them rest, I decided it was time for a kick in the face and brought back a work out near and dear to my heart. It is a modified version of Machine's on an island and I added the hamstring and calf work to it in an attempt to make it more demented that it already is. I will put it like this, every time I have done it I have puked and ended up in the floor from exhaustion. I have been burried now 3 times from it. It makes it difficult to sit, trust me I am in pain right now as I type. Oh and the best part is I will feel the effects for 3 to 4 days!!! I ask all to try and tell me if I lie about this.
Torturous FUN
wu (consists of 10 minutes on treadmill, leg ext. with moderate weight for 20 reps, light weight squats at 135 for 20, and lying leg curls for sets of 20)
Then the giant set hell begins. 1st set not balls out heavy, second one balls out heavy, third at same weight all taken to failure!
[weights listed by set then by reps]
Leg Ext
170 x 15; 200 x 12; 200 x 18 (there was no more reps I tried)
Leg Press
4 pps x 20; 6 pps x 15; 8 pps x 20 (about lost breakfast and lunch on the third trip)
Squats
225 x 20; 315 x 15; 315 x 6 (Burried on an attempt at a 7th)
Front Squats
135 all 3 sets because by this point you are delirious) x 20; x 15; x 14 and burried
Lying Leg Curls
110 x 15; 120 x 12; 130 x 8
Seated Calves
3 plates x 15; 12; 15
DB SLDL
75 x 15; 85 x 15; 85 x 12 --- Went to the locker room and worshiped the porcelain. I hate puking but it was already on its way and I couldnt fight it.
Rest between each rotation was 3 minutes. Whole work out took 48!

update at 21 weeks out
I have been late on my weekly updates. School is largely to blame as the work has picked up here at the end of the semester. Finals time in Law School sucks!
Weight: 234.5 this morning. Down 25.5 pounds in 5 weeks. A lot was bloat leaving at first. I dumped 15 quick, and have been dropping consistantly since.
Size: Still seems to be there. No real muscle loss that I can see.
I'm getting more vascular which is exciting. I keep telling people I want to get so peeled I have forehead veins.
That is about the magnitude. I have much more work to squeeze in over the next 21 weeks!

Sounds good bro. Making that kind of solid progress while having a full plate of other responsibilities is impressive to say the least.

Today is 20 weeks out from weigh ins. I did not weigh this morning though. Weight is irrelevant right now as it is only a number. The pressing issue is that I make changes daily, whether I can see them or not. Doing work at an all out frenzy ensures that this will occur. Because with each rep, each bite, each step in cardio I get closer not only to show time, but I also make a change. The will show and are already starting to show. I was told to keep trucking by AB so apparently he feels things are on track.
I know the task at hand, now I must do the labor required to successfully complete the job!

Thanks for that Shaffer! If the next 20 go as fast as the first 6.5 it will go quick. AB knows his stuff for sure. Helps me stay focused just discussing things with him.
