      Tuesday: 4/4/2023 - Legs

      Was draggin a bit so working up to a heavy set of 5 made sense in my head =) Hit some drop sets too! The Cambered Bar torched my low back/low abs so I skipped GM's. Nicely sore and stiff today =) =)

      We've had darkness and rain since yesterday and it's supposed to rain through Easter Sunday possibly Monday. I don't have the kiddos so I'll be resting and lifting! My company is closed tomorrow so I'll pick back up than. Feeling run down today, BETTER not be catching what my kiddos had dang it! I'm just constantly busy on all fronts and that will probably never change! Don't mind, wouldn't have it any other way to be honest. Makes lifting feel more like a retreat or vacation when I'm in the Dungeon, LOL! My hot neighbors must think I'm nuts but who cares. IT'S LITERALLY MY THERAPY SO PISS OFF (as the English would say) =) Shout out to Dr. Death haha.

      Sunday: 4/9/2023 - Back

      Good hard session yesterday! Dang SS Yoke Bar just DESTROYS the upper/mid back and pumps the shit out of your lats! During Pulldowns my back muscles were almost completely fried! Couldn't hit anything else after Pulldowns and called it there.

      I always set the safety pins where the bands hang from at 3 holes down from the top. It sets the bar to where the bands give out right at my weak point, just above the knees. Deads moved very well yesterday! Realigned myself with my previous Powerlifting form and it's just BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Thursday: 4/27/2023 - Back

      As tired as I was yesterday, I still got this in =) Surprised Deads moved so well, I was quite exhausted been a real BITCH of a week! Still here though and still raising hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Post-Surgery Post

      Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell the Big Guy high in the Sky put the brakes on my crazy ass life, LOL! I take it as a humbling positive experience. Plus, that left elbow tendon has always bugged me so at least now it's fixed! Didn't figure I'd be a total greenhorn, do something stupid and pop the medial triceps head off of my elbow tendon but HEY! Life happens.

      Like I said, I needed to hit the brakes a bit. Life has been psychotic for me lately (seems to get crazier on all fronts since the divorce). I've never taken a long break from lifting either so this is probably going to do wonders for my body =)

      *Already got the wrapping/splint cast removed (THANK GOD you can't sleep well with that damn thing). Had to shower with a sleeve on and the whole nine yards. Wore it for 13 days. Couldn't get it wet or sweaty or the incision might get infected and also had to miss one of my boy's baseball games AND HE GOT THE DAMN GAME BALL he did so well!

      Now I've got a removable brace that I can adjust the movement setting and clamps/straps. Just some wound closure tape on the incision (looks good and is scabbing over already. He made a long incision along the musculature around the elbow way down the triceps in a vertical manner. Looks badass!), a compression sleeve only when wearing the brace and of course the brace! I'm so happy cause I already am sleeping better and can shower with two hands =) =)

      I'm sure I've left plenty out, but ah hell who cares! Staying positive and in less than 3 weeks I'm done with the brace and can being PT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to it. I MISS LIFTING damnit but I'll be okay. The PT's at my surgeons hospital are cute =) Pretty sure all married BUT you never know!

      You just had to go and join the club huh? Sucks that happened but you’ll come back stronger and have more longevity training. Small setback. Funny how just trying to groom yourself after surgery is a milestone event LOL. Big thing for me was shaving and trimming my beard.

      Yes sir! I choose to walk the higher path....always. May have to be forced into it sometimes, but eventually I get there.

      Didn't wear my brace for very long! Had fully mobility and was able to lockout my tricep in 2.5 weeks! Less than two more weeks and I'll start PT =) =) =)
