Do you still prefer fats over carbs even in the offseason? Would you mind posting what a typical day of eating in the offseason would look like, supplements included?

Seems the ranks of the old school animal guys are thinning out as much as this forum
:(
Things do and must always change. Simply part of life! Guys move onto other things that is best for their situation. Nothing to be bummed about! Just part of it I'm afraid.
Change is both weird and hard to accept. Facing a bit of it myself now that I'm creeping closer to 40! Sounds weird as shit actually when I say that out loud.

Change is the only constant in the universe, so that in itself isn’t a bad thing.
But...we’ll just say the current changes aren’t too appealing to myself.

LOL! Well it's something we all face.
What motivates me to continue to lift is like Joe Rogan said, "So I can still stay propped up as I age". LOL! Also I've got thoracic spine issues in my family. Precisely why I train my back so hard! Hoping to avoid those issues long term.
I could try to attribute all kinds of esoteric and even existential to why I lift - I just like it. Especially lifting as heavy of shit as possible. I’m ok with leaving it at that.

Very nice! It is very similar for me as well, if I go too long without lifting I get wacky.
Can't push the super heavy weights anymore though, really jacks up my blood pressure to very dangerous levels. Have to watch the caffeine intake as well. It's hell growing older =) got fucking grey hairs popping out everywhere now too, LOL!
Wanted to read some old training notes on the forum. Great memories on this site so awesome to look back at old posts. Stay strong everyone it’s not over yet.
